Hawkins served as lead special counsel to New Jersey City University in connection with an innovative public-private partnership to construct a new residence hall for 425 students on the University’s campus that will help anchor mixed use development at the site. Hawkins assisted in the review and negotiation of the P3 project documents including a ground lease and a management agreement. The project received the “New Jersey’s Leading Infrastructure Project Award” from the New Jersey Alliance for Action.
