Hawkins served as underwriter's counsel in connection with the County of Erie’s General Obligation Bonds $110,945,000 Public Improvement Serial Bonds, Series 2024B (Buffalo Bills Stadium Project). The proceeds were used to finance a portion of the County’s share of construction costs for the new stadium. The new stadium will be the future home of the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League, pursuant to a series of agreements between the State of New York, Erie County and the Buffalo Bills. In addition to hosting the Bills, the new stadium has been designed to also host a broad range of other civic, community, athletic, educational, cultural, and commercial activities.
