Hawkins acted as Bond Counsel in connection with the issuance of $989 million of General Obligation Bonds issued by the State of Oregon to benefit statewide capital funding needs for public safety and emergency preparedness, education facilities and affordable housing. This deal was recognized by The Bond Buyer as the Far West Deal of the Year and is up for the National Deal of Year to be awarded on December 5, 2023.
